STORE CREDIT TRADE-IN APPOINTMENTS ARE OPEN!

We are currently offering limited STORE CREDIT TRADE-IN appointments on a first come, first serve basis. These appointments are designed as a same-day trade/shopping experience and are intended for customers bringing in styles that align with our current store themes and inventory needs.

Please note:
• These appointments are for STORE CREDIT ONLY!
• Cash buyouts are currently full and still being worked through separately
• Store credit expires within 7 days of being issued. No exceptions
• We are extremely selective and not all items brought in will be accepted
• We do not provide itemized pricing breakdowns

Before booking, please carefully review the list below of what we are currently looking for. Our inventory rotates frequently through themed drops, seasonal collections, and daily restocks, so our buying needs change often.

Any unused same-day store credit may be donated to our future Community Closet Fund, which will help provide clothing access to members of our community in the future.

BUYOUTS ARE CURRENTLY ON PAUSE!! Our clothing buyouts are currently paused until summertime. If you’d like to be notified when appointments reopen, you may join our waitlist. Buyout appointments will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis once we resume. Before requesting an appointment, please review the list below to ensure your items align with our current buying needs. We update this list regularly to reflect our seasonal inventory and store priorities.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Check In: Arrive for your appointment, check in at the counter, and complete a quick trade in form.

2. Shop While We Sort: Browse the store while we review your items and decide what we'll accept based on our current buying needs.

3. Receive Your Store Credit: Once we're finished, we'll let you know how much store credit you've earned. 

4. Start Shopping: Your store credit will be added to your account and can be used immediately. Any remaining balance expires 7 days after it is issued.

 

WHAT WE’RE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR:

We are highly selective and curate intentionally for both of our storefronts. Please review the list below before booking a future buyout appointment (when reopened).

  • Gothic & Alternative (ALWAYS Priority!!): We are ALWAYS looking for gothic and alternative clothing, accessories, shoes, and decor! For fall, we are especially seeking all-black layers, lace, mesh, fishnet, corsets, mini and maxi skirts, oversized sweaters, cardigans, jackets, long sleeves, band tees, horror tees, platform shoes and boots. We love whimsigoth, romantic goth, punk, metal, emo, grunge, and 90s/Y2K-inspired pieces. Gothic items may show some wear or minor flaws when it adds to the character and aesthetic.
  • Doc Martens & Birkenstocks: ALWAYS a priority! All sizes, styles, and colors are considered for both kids and adults. Broken-in and well-loved pairs are absolutely welcome as long as they still have plenty of life left.
  • Plus Sizes (HIGH NEED): We are especially seeking women’s sizes XXL–6XL across ALL of our aesthetics. Fall layers, sweaters, cardigans, dresses, skirts, graphic tees, alternative pieces, jackets, and everyday basics are especially needed. We remain selective regarding style, condition, and overall resale potential.
  • XXS, XXXS & Preteen Sizes (HIGH NEED): We are also actively looking for smaller sizes! We’ve had a growing demand for XXS, XXXS, and preteen-friendly clothing, especially trendy basics, fall layers, graphic tees, sweaters, skirts, dresses, and age-appropriate Y2K-inspired styles.
  • Boho, Coastal & Earthy: Flowy, relaxed and layered pieces are welcome year-round. For fall, think chunky cardigans, maxi skirts, flowy dresses, knitwear, textured tops, oversized layers, earthy accessories, western-inspired pieces, and anything with that cozy, lived-in feel.
  • Neutral & Earthy Tones: We LOVE greens, creams, browns, rust, mustard, burgundy, black, and muted neutrals. Sweaters, cardigans, dresses, skirts, wide-leg pants, jackets, and layering pieces are especially wanted for fall.
  • Maxi Dresses & Skirts: ALWAYS welcome! We love flowy, tiered, patterned, gothic, boho, vintage, and earthy styles that can be layered into the cooler months.
  • Overalls & Jumpsuits: Denim overalls, corduroy, utility styles, jumpsuits, rompers, and unique statement pieces are welcome.
  • Denim: We are currently accepting denim jackets, skirts, unique jeans, vintage denim, black denim, carpenter styles, and other interesting pieces. We are VERY picky when it comes to basic denim jeans, so style, wash, size, and condition matter!
  • Vintage (2010 or Older): We happily consider true vintage pieces, especially unique silhouettes, quality fabrics, jackets, sweaters, dresses, graphic tees, and statement pieces. Please message us with photos if you have specialty or higher-value vintage pieces you’re unsure about.
  • Natural Fabrics: Linen, silk, wool, cashmere, 100% cotton, leather, suede, and other quality natural fibers are always encouraged. Real leather and fur are also considered.
  • Select Menswear: We are continuing to grow our menswear selection and are looking for graphic tees, vintage tees, flannels, sweaters, jackets, outdoor wear, Carhartt, workwear, pearl snaps, western pieces, alternative styles, and PNW-inspired clothing. We remain selective with basic men’s jeans unless they are vintage, Carhartt, or otherwise unique.
  • Home Decor & Specialty Items: We selectively accept decor that fits the Swansorifinds aesthetic, including gothic, vintage, earthy, boho, and unique statement pieces. We love moody artwork, brass, candles and candleholders, skulls, ravens, dark or ornate frames, wicker, macramé, crystals, trinkets, vintage decor, and unusual pieces you probably wouldn’t find everywhere else.
  • Jewelry & Accessories (HIGH NEED): We are always looking for unique jewelry and accessories! Sterling silver, vintage jewelry, chunky rings, layered necklaces, charms, lockets, statement earrings, bangles, brooches, and unique handmade pieces are especially wanted. We love gothic, celestial, earthy, boho, coastal, western, and vintage styles. Natural stones, crystals, shells, silver and brass tones are also favorites. Please no heavily tarnished, broken, or missing-piece jewelry unless it is vintage or otherwise special.  ((Have broken, tarnished, or flawed jewelry? DON’T THROW IT AWAY! We are happy to accept these pieces as donations for repurposing and upcycling. Broken chains, single earrings, tarnished pieces, loose charms, beads, and other jewelry that may no longer be wearable can often be given a second life. While we cannot offer payment or store credit for these pieces, we would much rather see them reused than thrown away! ))
  • MIRRORS ARE ALWAYS WANTED!! We are interested in mirrors of ALL sizes, especially vintage, ornate, gold, wood, gothic, and unusual frames. Please feel free to send us photos of what you have!
  • Oversized Items: If you have a large mirror, furniture piece, or oversized decor item, please message us photos before bringing it in so we can make sure we have the space for it.

  • Strawberry-Themed Items (ALWAYS WANTED!): We LOVE strawberries! 🍓 We are actively looking for strawberry-themed clothing, accessories, jewelry, bags, shoes, plush, kitchenware, and home decor. Vintage or modern is welcome! If it has strawberries on it and fits our overall aesthetic, we probably want to see it.

Preferred Brands & Labels

While we prioritize style, condition, and overall aesthetic over brand name alone, we are especially drawn to thoughtfully designed pieces from labels that align with our storefront vibe.

Alternative & Streetwear: Killstar, Disturbia, Dollskill, Vans, Converse, Obey, Thrasher, Urban Outfitters, BDG, PacSun, Hot Topic, Spencer's, and select Zumiez brands.

Outdoor & Pacific Northwest: Patagonia, The North Face, Columbia, Carhartt, Pendleton, Prana, Mountain Hardwear, Arc'teryx, and REI Co op.

Boho & Boutique: Free People, Anthropologie, Madewell, Aritzia, Spell, POL, Easel, Umgee, Blu Pepper, Doe & Rae, Wishlist, and similar boutique brands.

Everyday & Contemporary: Abercrombie, Everlane, Good American, Agolde, Levi's, Reformation, and select American Eagle pieces.

Athleisure: Lululemon, Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour.

Footwear: Doc Martens, Birkenstock, Blundstone, Vans, Timberland, UGG, and other quality footwear.

Designer: Coach, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, AllSaints, and similar contemporary labels.

Plus Size Brands: Torrid, Lane Bryant, Universal Standard, Eloquii, City Chic, and select Old Navy.

Please note: brand name alone does not guarantee acceptance. We remain selective based on style, season, condition, and overall alignment with our curated aesthetic.

Why Trade with Swansorifinds? 

Swansorifinds is a curated, style-based secondhand shop, which means we don’t purchase items based on brand name alone. Every piece we accept is chosen with our stores, customers, current needs, and upcoming seasonal drops in mind.

We look for pieces that fit the styles we carry, sizes we currently need, the season ahead, and what we know our customers are actively shopping for. When we say yes to something, it’s because we can already picture where it belongs in Swansorifinds.

Because we curate intentionally, we may only select a handful of items from a larger trade-in, and that’s completely normal! Our current Most Wanted list is the best way to see what we’re actively searching for before bringing your items in.

Accepted items are given an offer based on factors such as style, condition, season, demand, and expected resale value. Once you accept your offer, we’ll complete your trade-in and get your items ready for their second life.

Our goal isn’t to take the most clothing possible. It’s to keep the right clothing in circulation, reduce textile waste, and create a shop where every rack feels intentionally curated.
