Clothing Buy-Outs

PLEASE READ ALL BELOW BEFORE SCHEDULING: BUYOUTS ARE CURRENTLY ON PAUSE!! Our clothing buyouts are currently paused until summertime. If you’d like to be notified when appointments reopen, you may join our waitlist. Buyout appointments will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis once we resume. Before requesting an appointment, please review the list below to ensure your items align with our current buying needs. We update this list regularly to reflect our seasonal inventory and store priorities.

WHAT WE’RE CURRENTLY BUYING:

We are highly selective and curate intentionally for both of our storefronts. Please review the list below before booking a future buyout appointment (when reopened).

Gothic & Alternative (ALWAYS Priority!!): We are actively prioritizing summer-ready gothic and alternative styles including lightweight all-black pieces, lace, mesh, fishnet, sheer layers, corset tops, mini skirts, statement tanks, band tees, and horror-themed tees. We love whimsigoth, punk, metal, emo, and 90s/Y2K-inspired pieces. Summer goth staples like flowy black dresses, layered jewelry, platform sandals, and breathable oversized pieces are ideal. Gothic items may show wear or minor flaws if it adds to the character and aesthetic.

Doc Martens & Birkenstocks: All sizes, styles, and colors accepted — kids and adults. Summer styles, sandals, and well-loved broken-in pairs are especially welcome.

Plus Sizes (High Need): We are especially seeking women’s sizes XXL–6XL in breathable, summer-ready fabrics. We remain selective regarding style, color palette, and overall condition.

Boho & Coastal (Summer Priority): Neutral, flowy, relaxed pieces such as linen tops and sets, maxi and midi dresses, flowy skirts, lightweight kimonos, nautical-inspired styles, and seashell or crystal accessories. Think effortless, beachy, earthy summer energy!

Neutral & Earthy Tones: Dresses, tanks, skirts, wide-leg pants, and layering pieces in green, cream, rust, brown, muted neutrals, and sun-washed tones.

Maxi Dresses & Skirts: Always open to any style, lightweight, breathable fabrics for warmer weather.

Overalls & Jumpsuits: Shortalls, demin, lightweight overalls, rompers, and summer jumpsuits are welcome.

Denim: Currently accepting denim shorts, black denim jackets (lightweight preferred), and denim skirts. Other denim may be considered based on style and season. We are very picky when it comes to denim jeans!

Strawberry-Themed Items: Clothing (adults and kids), plush, decor, and accessories featuring strawberries!

Vintage (2010 or Older): We happily consider true vintage pieces, especially summer silhouettes and statement items. Please message us with questions before bringing in specialty vintage pieces.

Natural Fabrics (Strongly Encouraged for Summer)
Linen, silk, 100% cotton, and other breathable natural fibers are always encouraged. Leather and furs are also considered! 

Select Menswear (Summer Styles): Now accepting limited menswear including PNW-inspired summer layers, graphic tees, outdoor wear, vintage tees, Carhartt, pearl snaps, and western-inspired pieces. Men’s jeans are not currently a priority unless they are Carhartt.

Home Decor & Specialty Items: We are selectively accepting decor that aligns with our aesthetic. We are ALWAYS interested in mirors, feel free to send us pictures of what you have! ANY SIZE MIRROR! Gothic decor such as candles, skulls, ravens, dark artwork, moody frames, and statement pieces are welcome year-round. For summer, we are also seeking brass accents (vintage or modern), macramé, wicker and boho-style pieces, gold-framed mirrors, small hanging wall decor, crystals, and small trinkets that fit a coastal, earthy, or gothic aesthetic.

If you have a large mirror or oversized item, please message us with photos prior to bringing it in!!

Preferred Brands & Labels

While we prioritize style, condition, and overall aesthetic over brand name alone, we are especially drawn to thoughtfully designed pieces from labels that align with our storefront vibe.

Streetwear & Alternative
We love elevated youth culture and alternative labels such as Dollskill, Obey, Thrasher, Vans, Converse, Killstar, Disturbia, Urban Outfitters (including BDG), Pacsun, Hot Topic, Spencer’s, and select Zumiez brands.

Outdoor & PNW-Inspired
Patagonia, The North Face, Columbia, Carhartt, Pendleton, Prana, Mountain Hardwear, Arc’teryx, REI Co-op, and other quality outdoor staples that reflect a Pacific Northwest lifestyle.

Boho, Boutique & Earthy Labels
We especially love boutique brands such as POL, Easel, Umgee, Blu Pepper, Doe & Rae, Wishlist, Free People, Aritzia, Anthropologie, Spell, Madewell, and similar lines that offer flowy silhouettes, natural textures, romantic details, and relaxed coastal energy.

Elevated Everyday & Contemporary
Abercrombie (especially Curve Love), Everlane, Good American, Agolde, Levi’s, Reformation, American Eagle (select styles), and other modern wardrobe staples with strong fit and structure.

Athleisure & Lifestyle
Lululemon, Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, and other performance-meets-style pieces.

Footwear Favorites
Doc Martens, Birkenstocks, Blundstone, Adidas, Timberland, UGG, Vans, and other quality, style-forward footwear.

Designer & Premium
Coach, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, AllSaints, Marc Jacobs, and similar contemporary designer labels.

Plus-Size Focused Brands
Torrid, Lane Bryant, Universal Standard, Eloquii, City Chic, Old Navy (select pieces), and other brands offering elevated extended sizing.

Please note: brand name alone does not guarantee acceptance. We remain selective based on style, season, condition, and overall alignment with our curated aesthetic.

**Disclaimer: Buyout success depends on our current stock levels and demand. We reserve the right to refuse items that do not meet our current needs, even with an appointment. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

Process: Schedule an appointment to bring your clothing to Swansorifinds and give your items a second chance at style. Here’s how it works:

Sign Up for an Appointment Online: Complete our online clothing buyout form and include information about the items you’d like to sell. You will be added to our waitlist and contacted with upcoming buyout dates and details once scheduling resumes.

Bring Your Items: On the day of your buyout, you may bring up to two large bags of clothing. When you arrive, sign in at the counter, label your bags, and leave them with us. We process buyouts during store closed hours to accommodate the number of participants. Your items will be reviewed and ready for payout within approximately two hours.

Review and Offer: Our team carefully reviews your items and makes an offer based on style, condition, season, and our current inventory needs.

Payout: If you accept the offer, you will receive cash payment. We simply require a signature to complete the transaction. We do not offer trades or store credit.
